GHALCA boss pleads with Kotoko to make a U-turn
Asante Kotoko's decision to pull out of the Special Competition is unsurprisingly not supported by many.
Kotoko left the nation in a big shock after the club announced withdrawing from the semi-final stage of the Special Competition.
The Porcupine Warriors’ reasons are that the last four games should be played via home and away legs - rather than playing at the home of Hearts of Oak.
Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Chairman Kudjoe Fianoo has appealed to the Kumasi-based side to return to the campaign in spite of the conditions.
“We all supported Kotoko during their campaign in Africa. I am appealing to them to rescind their decision and honour this match for the sake of Ghanaian football,” Fianoo said in a statement on Tuesday.
