Hearts of Oak have indicated that they might not be comfortable with the NC Special Competition's decision to give Asante Kotoko 40% share of the gate proceeds in their semifinal clash of Tier I.
The club's Communications Manager Opare Addo, while on a radio interview sounded unhappy with the decision, hinting that they might consider withdrawing from the clash.
Addo, however, said they will wait for official communication from the organisers of the competition, before making a decision.
“Hearts of Oak have not said we are bothered or worried about anything. We have no problem is someone (The NC) decides to give his portion of the money to someone (Kotoko)," he said while speaking to Nhyria FM Sports.
“But if you have money and want to share then you must share it wisely, we are reluctant on commenting on this issue until we’ve received official communication then we will also reply with whatever we have to tell the NC," he added.
“I will entreat all our fans to keep calm and we will make sure of taking a decision that will be in the best interest of this club”
The Phobians are set to face Kotoko in the semi-finals of the competition on the 16th of June 2019 for a final berth.
