Ghana international midfielder Ebenezer Ofori has departed from the national team's camp in Abu Dhabi to join New York City as the Major League Soccer season goes on, according to Ghana Soccernet.

The 23-year-old failed to break into the Black Stars final squad ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament set to take place in Egypt.

The Ghanaian footballer is currently on loan to New York City FC from German Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart who have been relegated in the just ended season.
