Enyimba, Kano Pillars to play in CAF Champions League

Kano Pillars joined Enyimba as the two clubs that will represent Nigeria at the CAF Champions League 2019/2020 season.

Enyimba claimed a record eighth title in emphatic manner on Wednesday in Lagos as they were crowned champions of the abridged 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

Kano Pilars finished second on 11 points, one behind Pillars, and both clubs will now fly Nigeria's flag in the CAF Champions League.

Rangers, who finished third with eight points, will be joined by the winner of the 2019 AITEO Cup to represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup.
