Premier League side Liverpool is set to renew interest in Lyon midfielder Nabi Fekir.
The Reds came close to landing the Frenchman a year ago but a deal failed to materialize at the 11th hour. However, Le Progres is reporting that Jurgen Klopp is keen to sign Fekir despite concerns about an old knee injury. Liverpool are believed to be unwilling to pay the £53m fee they agreed with the Ligue 1 club for the France international last season before the European champions pulled out of the deal.
Fekir, who netted 12 goals, 11 fewer than the season before while providing nine assists in the process, is believed that his market value has dropped as the Lyon captain now has one year left on his contract.
