Africa's number one Senegal announce final AFCON squad

Senegal coach Aliou Cisse has named his final 23-man squad for AFCON 2019.

As one of the strongest squads and CAF’s number one-ranked side, Senegal’s squad features some of Africa’s greatest talent. Known as the Lions of Teranga, the West Africans will compete in Group C alongside Algeria, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Liverpool star Sadio Mane and Napoli's towering central defender Kalidou Koulibaly, rated among the world's football’s greatest talent, are set to lead Senegal to their first ever AFCON title.

Coach Cisse’s side face Nigeria in this weekend’s friendly, before starting AFCON 2019 against Tanzania on June 26.
