Zesco United coach George Lwandamina is worried about the little time his side has to recover in time for the start of the 2019/2020 CAF Champions league campaign.
Lwandamina feels his team has little time to recover ahead of the CAF Champions League campaign which starts on 9th August.
"The league has stretched to this time which gives us little time to recover. We won't stop planning and working hard in the little time we have because we are in a competition just hoping that we will do better, " he said.
When asked about failing to score in regulation time Lwandamina was quick to point out that it is not always that you need to score to win games.
"It is not always that you have to score. I don't know where you take these questions from, Did Eagles score? Who scored more penalties? " he said.
Zesco United clinched their eighth league title on Saturday and a third in a row after beating Green Eagles on post-match penalties.
