Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards has signed former Uganda international keeper Benjamin Ochan on a one year deal according to reports.
Ochan has been in the books of Zambia side Kabwe Warriors FC but terminated his contract with the side a few days ago.
According to the player representative, as quoted by Ugandan portal Kawowo, his client had several offers on the table but decided to choose Leopards.
“Benjamin Ochan will be playing at AFC Leopards for the next season. We had a number of offers on the table, but let us see how it progresses with the offer we decided to have,” the representative said.
Ochan who joined Kabwe last season is expected to join his new teammates for their pre-season camp slated for Kisumu this week.
Leopards has been in search of a keeper to replace the departed Eric Ndayishimiye who has since joined Rwandese side AS KIgali.
The traveled Ochan who started his career with Entebbe Young Football Academy has previously featured for Denmark side Aarhus Gymnastikforening, Uganda’s Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), South Africa’s Bloemfontein Celtic and lately Kabwe Warriors.
