Former Zesco Serbian coach Krmpotic confirms move to SA

Absa Premiership side Polokwane City are set to announce Zlatko Krmpotic as their new coach.

Following media speculations that the former Zesco United coach is heading to Polokwane City, the Serb has now verified the story as true.

The 60-year-old that holds a UEFA Pro license arrives after having coached Royal Eagles in South Africa’s lower National First Division and the Rwanda National team.

"Yes it's true, I have joined Polokwane City. I signed with the club on Tuesday,” Krmpotic told KickOff.com. Team known as Rise & Shine make the appointment after getting dumped by the Slovenia's Jozef Vukusic. 

Krmpotic, who  generally favours a 4-3-3 formation, will start the season against Black Leopards on Sunday 4 August at Thohoyandou.
