We will try our best but won't promise anything- Okello

Kampala City Council (KCCA) midfielder Allan Okello says he is ready for the CECAFA Kagame Cup semifinal encounter against Zambian outfit Green Eagles.

Okello who set up one of the goals in the quarter-finals is however not promising anything to the fans but says the team will work hard to secure a win.

"Me as a player am ready, good to go for the game tomorrow. We as a team need teamwork altogether and we will do our best. We will try our best but won't promise anything," he said.

" We were not efficient enough in our last game. We are working on it. Our coach wants us to score more goals. If we score more goals tomorrow the defense will be confident enough to defend our goals," he added.

Green Eagles are the fourth Zambian club to reach the semifinals of the Cecafa Clubs Championship after Green Buffaloes (1976 and 1986), Kabwe Warriors and Mufulira Wanderers (1986) all qualified to the semifinals. KCCA and Eagles will go head to head on Friday at 15:00hrs for a slot in the final and a chance at walking away with $30,000 prize money.
