Green Eagles head coach Aggrey Chiyangi took a dig at Match officials led by Somalian referee Hagi Hassan who was in charge of his teams 4-3 loss to Uganda side KCCA in the semifinal of the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
Chiyangi claims the Somalian match officials were not fair in the way they officiated the match and made wrong calls against his side.
"The competition has been excellent and the organizers have been excellent in todays game the only thing was the referee even you saw that there was no fair play. We can accept certain things as mistakes but certain things were clear that its what they wanted," he said.
The Choma side was handed a 4-3 defeat by KCCA a result Chiyangi accepted. He believes his team gave away two easy goals that could have changed the course of the game.
"We are disappointed that we have lost. It's normal in football so we just have to accept the defeat, " he said.
"I think there is no problem with our preparation, I think they just lose concentration on the pitch. It's all about concentration. The player needs to understand and make decisions at the right time. We have given them two easy goals which could have made a difference in this game, " he added.
Allan Okello netted a brace while Mike Mutyaba and Anuku Sadat scored a goal each to lead KCCA to the final of the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup. Eagles will face the losing team between AZAM and Maniena in a third and fourth playoff.
