The Nigeria Professional Football League’s most successful sides last season are set to embark on the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
The preliminary fixtures that traditionally precede the group stages were released by CAF ahead of the action in August.
Nigeria Premier League champions Enyimba will battle in the Champions League alongside runners-up Kano Pillars. The People’s Elephant face Burkinabe side Rahimo in a two-legged first-round tie.
Pillars will lock horns with Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko.
The Confederation Cup sides Enugu Rangers have a by draw to face the winner between S Pelican (Gabon) and AS Maniema Union (Democratic Republic of Congo).
Tornadoes will face Santoba Conakry of Guinea. The first round matches are scheduled to be played in August, while the second-round games will take place in September.
