FC Platinum have sealed the return of last season’s hot man Rodwell Chinyengetere from South Africa’s Baroka FC.
Platinum Boys coach Norman Mapeza is a happy man following his fears that it would be a tough ask to replace Chinyengetere after he had left for Baroka in January.
Chinyengetere’s deal has been verified by the club after the striker made 10 appearances for Baroka in the Absa Premiership.
“We have finalised with Baroka for his loan deal. The only thing left now is the international clearance and once that is done, we will be able to register him for the slots that are currently available,” Chido Chizondo, FC Platinum spokesperson, told Newsday.
