Nigeria U20 international Valentine Ozornwafor has opened up about his time playing at Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray where he reveals what he has learned so far.
Ozornwafor recently joined Galatasaray from Enyimba where he is currently adapting to Turkish football and its vast differences from the Nigeria Premier League.
The 20-year-old was signed by the Turkish Super Lig giants on a four-year deal which sees him stay on until 2021.
“You know I’m a very young player. Every day I learn one more thing. Surely to play in this match, this match gave me the experience to wear. The most important thing for me is to learn from each passing day,” Ozornwafor told the club’s website.
“After all, a professional player needs to adapt to the team as soon as possible. There’s not much time left, you know the league starts in a few weeks.
“I need to get used to everything that the manager wants, as well as my teammates. Ryan Babel showed me a video. He gave me some advice. Every day I learn something new.
“I don’t necessarily have to be an experienced player. Especially my coaches and teammates, every day I learn something from them. I’m open to learning. I will improve myself in this way.”
Galatasary will meet Akishae in the Turkish Super Cup in the following week and Ozornwafor believes that he will be given an opportunity to be part of the squad.
