Days after naming Andrew Rix Kanuli as their new assistant coach, Nzoia Sugar have followed that up by appointing former Kariobangi Sharks assistant coach Collins Korea Omondi as their new head coach.
Korea replaces Godfrey Oduor, who joined KCB in the capacity of an assistant coach to Zedekiah Zico Otieno who left Gor Mahia at the end of last season. Korea joined Sharks midway through the 2018 season from Sony Sugar after previously serving as an assistant manager at Mathare United.
Former AFC Leopards and Mathare United midfielder Edward Seda filled in the shoes left by Korea and is now serving as William Muluya's assistant. Nzoia will be looking to better their 12th place finish last season after battling relegation during some stages in the campaign.
