Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC has had their youth side-Tusker Youth-call for trials as they gear to add to their armory ahead of their new season.
A statement on the club’s portal said: “Tusker Youth FC will be conducting a three-day intensive trial exercise aimed at recruiting new players ahead of the 2019/20 FKF Nairobi East regional league.
“The player selection and trials will be conducted at the club’s training ground in Ruaraka, from Wednesday 14th August to Friday 16th August 2019. Activities on all days will start from 8:30 am.
“Interested players must be 18-22yrs of age and should carry with them Copies of their ID or Passport and Birth Certificate. For more information contact Calvin on 0720561814.”
The statement further noted that the exercise will be conducted by Head coach Aggrey Evayo, assisted by Peter Kariuki and will be done based on merit.
In the current preseason, head coach Robert Matano had called up to seven players from the side to join his team as they geared for the new season.
The news comes a day after the senior team overcame Mapigano FC of Tanzania in a preseason friendly tie on Monday in Tanzania.
