Europe's biggest club competition, the Champions League will resume soon, with the competition'a Group stage draw set for the end of August.
Liverpool will be defending their title, with Chelsea making a come back after missing out in the previous season.
The two sides will meet on Wednesday in Istanbul for the competition's curtain-raiser, the Uefa Super Cup, which normally brings together winners of the Champions League and the Europa League.
Arsenal and Manchester United will also miss out, with Manchester City and Tottenham being the other English representatives.
The group stage draw will take place in Monaco on Thursday 29 August, with the exact time of the draw yet to be confirmed.
Europe's second-tier club competition will also return from September, with the draw taking place in Monaco as well a day after the Champions League draw; August 30th.
Chelsea are the current champions but will not be defending their title, having qualified to play in the Champions League.
