Manchester United legend Neville has no desire to return to coaching

Former Valencia coach Gary Neville has revealed he has no desire to return to coaching.

The former Manchester United ace lasted for only four months as Valencia coach before he was shown the door following strings of poor results. The La Liga side registered only three wins out of 16 league games under Neville, and 10 out of 28 games overall. The 44-year-old, who now co-owns League Two side Salford City, works as a pundit, and runs hospitality and property businesses is not interested in going back to managerial.

"There is not one single part of me that wakes up and thinks 'I want to be on the training field'," Neville said.

"I had my foray into management in Valencia and it was probably one of the best learning curves I have ever had. It was a clip around the ear, sometimes you need one in life.”

"I'm more interested in the boardroom or in the business side of things. The football side I love. I love watching matches but I just don't want to be on the training pitch, I feel like I've done that part of my life and want to move on."
