Real Madrid have been reported to be interested in cashing in on James Rodriguez all summer but Zinedine Zidane has made a U-turn and is now aiming to keep the Colombian.
The Colombian has not played a competitive game for Real Madrid since the 2016/17 campaign after spending the last two seasons on loan at German side Bayern Munich. Napoli have been interested in the Rodriguez and was rumored to be offered to Paris Saint-Germain as part of the Neymar deal.
According to COPE Deportes, the Colombian is no longer on the market, with Zidane viewing him as an important player for the upcoming campaign. Rodriguez has made 111 appearances for Real since joining from Monaco in 2014 and has helped the club to two Champions League trophies and one La Liga title.
