Fresh from bagging a hat-trick last week, Michael Olunga continued his goal-scoring streak for Kashiwa Reysol after netting in the 2-1 win over V-Varen Nagasaki in the Japanese J2 League on Saturday 17th August.
Reysol are in red hot form with the game making it 10 consecutive wins in the league and opened up a seven points lead at the summit of the table. Reysol went ahead early in the eighth minute when Matheus Savio broke the dead-lock as they went into the half time break leading.
Nagasaki came back into the second half strong and pulled level in the 50th minute when Hiroto Goya converted his penalty kick. Michael Olunga ensured Reysol went back home with all three points 15 minutes from time with his strike that proved to be the match-winner.
Olunga has now scored 12 league goals this season, five shot of top scorer Lee Yong-Jae. Reysol next face Gifu on Sunday 25th August.
