BREAKING: Francis Kimanzi appointed as new Harambee Stars head coach

Football Kenya Federation has confirmed Francis Kimanzi has been appointed as the head coach of Harambee Stars with Zedekiah Otieno the head of the team's technical bench.

Kimanzi replaces Sebastien Migne, who left the position after the former coach Football Kenya Federation agreed to part ways on mutual consent. The tactician left his post at Mathare United a month ago to fully concentrate on the national team and was assistant to Migne.

He is not new to the Harambee Stars job as he was appointed a full-time head coach of the team on December 11, 2008, having held the post as a caretaker coach since May 2008.

He was shown the door after the 2008 Cecafa Cup in January 2009 due to disputes between him and Kenyan football administrators.
