Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has joined former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel at Turkish club Trabzonspor.
Sturridge, who became a free agent at the end of last season, joined the Turkish outfit on a three-year deal.
Sturridge was released by Liverpool in the summer after a six-year stay during which he scored 67 goals in 160 appearances.
He had been linked with a host of clubs this summer with Marseille, DC United and Aston Villa all tipped to move for the 29-year-old.
But he failed to agree a move and he arrived in Turkey earlier this week before completing his switch to Trabzonspor on Wednesday.
He will be joining Mikel, who also moved to Trabzonspor as a free agent in July.
Mikel captained Nigeria's Super Eagles to bronze finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
