Ghana international and Swansea City forward Andre Ayew has reportedly turned down the opportunity to join Ligue 1 side Girondins Bordeaux despite the growing interest.
According to Ghanasoccernet, Bordeaux are reportedly willing to offer Ayew what he wants but he has opted to remain in England as he seeks new challenges with the Swans.
The 31-year-old was recalled to Liberty Stadium after a loan spell with Fenerbahce but reports suggest that he might still forge a move away from the club.
It has emerged that manager Steve Cooper has decided to keep the Ghanaian despite previous comments because he feels like Andre can help them fight for Premier League promotion.
