Chelsea have confirmed Tiemoue Bakayoko has joined his former club Monaco on a season-long loan.
The French midfielder made 43 appearances for the Blues in 2017/18 season after joining from the French side but failed to settle fully.
He was shipped out to AC Milan on loan in the 2018/19 season, where he made 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal in what was an improved performance.
He will join former Blues midfielder Francesc Fabregas, who joined the team in January and worked under Thierry Henry.
Monaco are currently under Leonardo Jardim, who Bakayoko played under during his first spell at the club, and are 19th in Ligue 1 having lost two and drawn one of their opening three games.
They travel to play Strasbourg away on Sunday afternoon before hosting Marseille after the international break.
