🌍 Five standout performers from the weekend's Euro 2020 qualifiers

Europe's finest nations continue their quest to reach Euro 2020 next year and some of the biggest names in club football stood out on the weekend for their countries.

Here are five of those stars, starting with goal-machine Harry Kane.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Harry Kane

England's captain fantastic bagged a hat-trick in the Three Lions' comfortable 4-0 win over Bulgaria on Saturday. That's now 25 goals in 40 England caps for the 26-year-old Tottenham striker. He's also the first player to score 23+ goals in his first 40 appearances for the England men’s team since Gary Lineker.

🇪🇸 Thiago Alcântara

Bayern Munich's midfield maestro was imperious against the Faroe Islands, providing two assists in added time, both for Paco Alcácer, to add gloss to the score-line for Spain. Tougher tests will come for Spain and Thiago, but he is a genuinely world-class midfield player who makes his team tick.

🇫🇷 Kingsley Coman

The Bayern Munich man can be unpredictable and frustrating, but when he's good, he's very good. His pace and trickery were too much for Albania on the weekend as he bagged a brace of goals in France's 4-1 win.

🇦🇲 Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Armenia's star man suffered a crisis of confidence at Arsenal where he lost his place in the starting XI under Unai Emery and when he was selected, his performances didn't match up to his ability. Now he's got a fresh start at Roma and he bagged two goals and an assist in Armenia's impressive home win against Bosnia.

🇵🇹 Bernardo Silva

It's been an incredible year for the Manchester City playmaker and his performances just keep getting better and better. An assist for Cristiano Ronaldo and a goal of his own in Portugal's 4-2 win away to Serbia showed off all off his attacking talents and just why he wears the number 10 jersey for the European Champions.
