The Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder John Ogu believes Tammy Abraham will want to represent the country, thanks to the many talented players in their ranks.
Abraham is eligible to play for Nigeria despite featuring for England’s youth teams over the years.
The 21-year-old, who's parents are of Nigerian descent, has been phenomenal for Chelsea this season and is currently the Premier League’s top scorer on seven goals after five matches.
In a series of tweets on his twitter account, Ogu took pride in the array of talent the country boasts of and went ahead to even pair Abraham with Lille attacker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria football federation is said to be keen on luring the Chelsea academy graduate to wear the famous green and white jersey.
If they successfully persuade him, he would join the likes of Everton star Alex Iwobi, William Troost-Ekong and Tyrone Ebuehi in pledging their allegiance to the side.
