Paris Saint-Germain ace Neymar will miss the crunch Champions League match against Real Madrid on Wednesday, as he serves a three-match suspension.
The mercurial attacker carries a three-game European ban from last season, following comments he made about the refereeing in the French club's last-16 loss to Manchester United.
In an angry outburst, the Brazilian blasted match officials and the VAR over a decision that went Manchester United's way, as they recorded a stunning 3-0 comeback-win at the Le Parc des Princes to progress to the next round.
"They put 4 people who know nothing about football to watch the VAR slow motion," the Brazil international posted on his Instagram story. "There is no penalty. How can it be handball when his back is turned. Go f**k yourselves ..." he said then in a match he sat out.
PSG will also miss the services of Kylian Mbappe, who is recovering from a hamstring strain that forced him out of the club's last two matches.
Despite missing some of their key players, the Paris-based side still has good players in their ranks, and Real have to be at their best to pick points from their fortress.
