New Real Madrid boy Eden Hazard has revealed the difference between his current club and former club Chelsea after making his debut for the European giants over the weekend.
The Belgian star sealed a £130million move to the Bernabeu this summer and has opened up on one of the most striking cultural differences he has spotted already.
Hazard speaking to Champions Journal said: “At Chelsea when we lost, we were disappointed, like the fans, but I never felt it was a disaster, it's different in Spain.
“I think that here the fans are really fans, football is everything to them and they need players to give everything, in England, there aren't so many fans.
Interest in Football
“Of course, people there like football and everyone be that young people, adults or teenagers are really interested in football, but they aren't so fanatical about their teams.'
Outside of pre-season, Hazard is yet to taste defeat as a Real Madrid player with Zinedine Zidane's side grinding out two wins and two draws in the league so far.
Hazard came off the bench to replace Casemiro on the hour mark as they overcame Levante 3-2 over the weekend.
