📰 Team news
Álvaro Morata and Thomas Partey are both doubts for Wednesday's encounter with Juventus. The former will hope to recover in time to feature against his former club. A blow to the face forced Jan Oblak off midway through the second half of Atleti's shock defeat to Real Sociedad at the weekend and Diego Simeone will hope to have his star Slovenian 'keeper available here. Croatian right-back Šime Vrsaljko is definitely out.
Emre Can has been left out of Juventus' Champions League squad. Matthijs de Ligt faces a stern test here with Giorgio Chiellini a long-term absentee. Douglas Costa has been a regular under Maurizio Sarri so far this season but misses out through injury for the away side. Miralem Pjanic is, however, closing in on a first-team return and could feature. Sami Khedira, Blaise Matuidi, Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot all compete for two slots in midfield alongside Pjanić.
