πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ“ΉπŸ€ Watch: Sirino slaps Daniels & Furman, no red card

Mamelodi Sundowns forward Gaston Sirino is a violent & lucky man. The Uruguayan got away with a dramatic charge and slap on the SuperSport United duo of Clayton Daniel & Dean Furman.

The drama and unsporting conduct happened in last night’s 2-0 loss to Matasantsntsa in an MTN8 semi-finals game.

Frustrated and tightly-marked by the opposition defence at 1-0, Sundowns’ Sirino took out his irritation on the duo. The referee, appearing to have seen the incident, surprised everyone by only handing the 28-year-old a yellow card.

Meanwhile, both coaches Kaitano Tembo and Pitso Mosimane were made to offer comments. SuperSport’s Tembo felt it was an action that is typical of derby games.

“You have to make those tough calls but I'm not sure what really happened, from what I heard, someone was slapped. We need to stamp that out a little bit out of our game. But at the same time, it's emotions, it's a derby, it's normal," Tembo told SuperSport TV after the game.

Mosimane had this to say: "But when you have Clayton [Daniels], you know [Gaston] Sirino has a small body. It's okay, it's part of the game we accept it, especially when you lose, you don't want to talk much about that because it looks like you're making excuses," Mosimane told SuperSport.
