How Bukayo Saka celebrated his match-winning performance against Frankfurt

Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has opened up on what happened after his match-winning performance on Thursday night against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League.

The teenager was the star of the show, scoring once and assisting twice in a 3-0 win to put the Gunners comfortably in charge of their group.

Speaking after the match, Saka revealed that he reached out to his father first but was mobbed by coaches, and messages from family and friends on social media.

"I've always dreamed of this moment from when I was a kid to score a goal for Arsenal Football Club. Now, I've done it, I just want to keep working, stay humble, get that feeling again one day," he said after the match.

"I had so many messages: Instagram, WhatsApps and Snapchat. The notifications. I had them from everyone.
"I even gave my dad a quick FaceTime call. He was so proud of me so it makes me happy,"
"I couldn't speak to him because the coaches wanted me to get in the ice bath because of recovery. We just put our thumbs up to each other, I saw him smiling, I was smiling too and it was a proud moment but I didn't get to speak to him,"

"He's a massive inspiration for me. From when I was young, he always kept me grounded, kept me humble and I'm sure he'll see some criticisms from tonight, something I can get better from but I'm sure I would have made him happy.

The youngster has been tipped for greatness at the club, with many of the fans calling for his smooth integration into the senior team.
