Arsenal manager Unai Emery has confirmed Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin will be in action on Friday night when the U-23 team takes on Wolves.
The duo has been recovering from various injuries, but stepped up their recovery recently, and will be involved as they get ready for senior team action.
Tierney was signed by the Gunners form Celtic in the summer transfer window for a fee of around £25 million but is yet to feature for the club following a groin injury.
Bellerin, on the other hand, has been out for close to nine months now, following a serious knee injury he suffered in 2018.
Speaking after their Europa League match against Frankfurt on Thursday night, the Spaniard revealed there is good progress from the players, and they should be back into the fold soon.
"Rob Holding is very close to us and tomorrow Tierney and Bellerin are going to play in the U23s," he added.
Holding has been gaining match fitness following his full recovery and might be in contention for a starting role against Aston Villa at home on Sunday.
The return of the players is a big boost to the club, who have had an indifferent start to the current campaign. They let a 2-0 lead slip last time out, drawing 2-2 away at Watford.
They are currently on eight points after five matches of the new campaign.
