The often eccentric Belgian coach Luc Eymael is back in the Absa Premiership.
According to the influential Soccer Laduma, the former Free State Stars and Polokwane City coach has simply agreed terms - subject to his arrival in Mzansi to sign.
“Luc Eymael is expected to take over the vacant head coach post at Black Leopards, the Siya crew being informed that the two parties have finally agreed terms,” wrote Soccer Laduma.
“The Belgian mentor claimed in today’s Soccer Laduma that there was a hold up over his package with one of the clubs he was negotiating his Premier Soccer League return with. According to reliable Siya sources, it now appears talks have now been successful and Eymael will return to Mzansi to coach his fourth team in the country’s top-flight,” added the publication.
The Belgian returns to SA after a stint in the Egyptian Premier League with Tala'ea El Gaish SC. His last success in the Absa Premiership was a Nedbank Cup title with Free State Stars. Eymael’s other major success was taking Polokwane City to a historic fourth-place finish in 2017.
Eymael could make his Lidoda Duvha debut at home to Bloemfontein Celtic this Sunday.
