πŸ‘†πŸΎπŸ† Zwane helps Sundowns past Leopards to third place

Mamelodi Sundowns have added pressure on the Absa Premiership’s leading pack.

Sundowns successfully traveled to the tough terrains of Thohoyandou to defeat Black Leopards 2-1 tonight.

With Andile Jali in for his first start of the term, Sundowns dominated much of the game with maturity, class, and patience.

The first goal came around 23 minutes. Thapelo Morena connected with Ali Meza, who smartly found Themba Zwane nudge in a first-time finish.

It was 2-0 just seconds to the break. Leopards’ Chris Katjiukua put one in his own net after Gaston Sirino drove in a shot.

Leopard’s Mwape Musonda decreased the score on 60 minutes. The Zambian was well-found by substitute Tshwarelo Bereng to strike past Denis Onyango: 2-1!

The win took the Tshwane giants to third spot behind Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs.
