Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has emerged a January transfer target for Manchester United.
United have struggled in front of the goal this season since the departure of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez who joined Inter Milan in the summer. This will force Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be active during the January transfer window with the club already linked with Juventus' forward Mario Mandzukic. However, according to 90min, Cavani is on Red Devils' list of targets alongside Mandzukic.
PSG boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed that he is unsure of the Uruguyan's plans for the future.
"It's too soon to speak about such things. I'm sure Edi is speaking with the club. He knows it's his club," he said.
"I don’t know Edi’s ideas exactly at the moment. I count 100 percent on Edi this season," he added.
The 32-year-old's contract with the Ligue 1 giants is set to expire in the summer meaning the Red Devils could wait to sign him for free next summer but a January move remains a possibility.
