πŸ‡¬πŸ‡βš½πŸ₯… Andre Ayew scores in 1-1 draw to secure a point for Swansea City

Ghana international Andre Ayew scored in a third consecutive match in the English Championship as Swansea City played to a 1-1 stalemate to Barnsley at the weekend as reported by Goal.

Swansea had suffered a 2-1 defeat to Stoke City before this match which made them lose points after they'd secured the top of the Championship log - they are currently third from 12 matches played.

The first half reportedly took a while to pick up the pace but Ayew found the back of the net in the 67th minute through a header to give the Swans a lead.

However, it wasn't to be Swansea's day and Alex Mowatt scored the equaliser for the hosts in the 70th minute

Ayew played the entire duration of the match and had a total of seven shots, two on target. He had 54 touches on the ball and made 21 accurate passes at 72.4% as quoted by Goal.

Swansea are set to host Brentford on Tuesday at the Liberty Stadium and they will hope to secure three points to get back on top of their game.
