Norman Mapeza is moments away from his official Chippa United debut and the stubborn Bloemfontein Celtic are in the way.
The former FC Platinum double-league champion had to sit out the club’s preceding game due to a delayed work permit registration.
Chippa United, known as the Chilly Boys, are tonight looking at a Telkom Knockout quarter-final progression and are at home in East London.
Mapeza's selection has seen the former Warriors international start with two of his trusted and well-known ex-players. The ex Platinum brothers Evis & Kelvin will command the back four alongside the 19-year-old Gregory Dimonds at right-back, as well as the iron-like Burundian defender Frédéric Nsabiyumva.
On the opposite side, Ronald Pfumbidzai will watch the game from home. The workhorse left-back is suspended after picking a third yellow card against Black Leopards.
