Former Partizani Tirana coach Sulejman Starova has exclaimed that Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban is one of the best foreign players to have ever graced the Albanian topflight according to Ghanasoccernet.
Ekuban who is currently plying his trade for Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig played in Albania for a season when he was brought to the Partizani Tirana club.
The Ghanaian forward was on loan at Partizani during 2016/17 season, where he scored approximately 17 goals from 34 appearances.
“Yes, I believe he (Ekuban) is the best player to come to Albania," Starova said in an interview with abcnews.al.
Sulejman Stratova worked with Ekuban during that season, where the duo achieved much-deserved success for their exploits as player and coach -respectively.
Ekuban's best goal return in a season was reportedly with the Albanian giants and that is the reason he is still highly rated.
The Ghana international has gone on to be adored by the Turkish fans with his impressive displays for Trabzonspor where he has netted five goals from seven matches played - he is currently dealing with injury woes that have set him back.
