Harambee Stars will head into their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt listed at 108th in the latest FIFA rankings, dropping a single slot from the last rankings.
Kenya suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of Mozambique in the last international break, a result that led to their drop. Despite beating Kenya, Mozambique failed to move a single spot as they maintained their 112th position.
Senegal remained the top-ranked African nation, with the top five unchanged after Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria and Morocco all maintained their places. Belgium also kept their number one status globally after a 9-0 win over San Marino last time out while and are followed by France and Brazil who managed 1-1 draws against Senegal and Nigeria.
Nicaragua and South Sudan are the biggest gainers in the rankings scaling 11 positions while Mauritius dropped 12 places to become the biggest losers.
The match against Egypt is slated for Friday 15th November in Cairo while Kenya will host Togo at the MISC Kasarani on Tuesday 19th November.
