πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ—£πŸ‘€ Pitso fires another Middendorp & Chiefs attack

Pitso Mosimane has uttered the sharpest remarks towards a coach & club like we’ve never heard and seen before.

Pitso’s series of publicly frank digs at Chiefs, who he claims benefit from a lot of refereeing decisions, began early this month. Mosimane first ruffled Chiefs feathers when he declared that Amakhosi have no excuses but to win the title, as the Soweto giants do not face any of the typically grueling CAF Champions League football.

A week later Pitso was not done. He claimed Chiefs enjoy the fortune of earning soft penalty decisions. Middendorp then responded to say Pitso 'makes noises.'

Last night saw Pitso take the level a few notches up.

Speaking after a Mauricio Affonso’s late winner against Highlands Park and ahead of meeting Chiefs this weekend, Mosimane let rip to tear directly into the German coach.

“Remember why Middendorp left South Africa? You must remind us. He was at the DC (disciplinary committee) every day,” Pitso told journalists via Soccer Laduma.

“He said the PSL was against him and he left. For what? Referees. He was complaining, but now he went to Thailand on honeymoon and he is back and he is benefitting. So why should we not talk about him? No, we will talk.”

Mosimane was later asked to conclude the chat by giving his thoughts on Middendorp's presence in the stands at the Lucas Moripe Stadium to watch Sundowns last night.

“He has watched me all my career and he knows what he got," Pitso said.

"We can look back at the history – the results are there. I repeat, we don’t have to beat Chiefs. They are well rested, feet up, watching us play. We have played 7 games more than Chiefs, they are fresh, dealing with injuries. That’s why I say they have a chance to win the league because they are well rested. We are going to play three games in six days. Here we go. We don’t run the same race – they don’t have CAF, didn’t have Top 8 so they train and wait, hence more energy. That’s normal,” concluded the man known as “Jingles.”

Sundowns will welcome Chiefs in a top-of-the-table clash in Pretoria on Sunday. Kuzofiwa!
