Sterling named Champions League Player of the Week

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has been named the Champions League Player of the Week, following his exploits in midweek.

The winger was the star performer for City against Italian side Atalanta, where he scored a hat-trick and provided an assist in the 5-1 demolition.

He beat competition from another hat-trick hero PSG's Kylian Mbappe, Juventus ace Paulo Dybala, and Liverpool midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The win saw Man City maintain a perfect record in the competition with three wins out of three, and are favourites to advance as group winners.
