South Africa’s squad to face Ghana & Sudan in AFCON 2021 qualifiers has been confirmed this afternoon.
Mzansi’s new coach Molefi Ntseki steps into the real business. The former assistant coach will begin is first ever major tournament qualification quest in a few weeks.
Ntseki has dropped a couple of former coach Stuart Baxter’s choices. They include the likes of Daniel Cardoso, Hlompho Kekana, Bruce Bvuma, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Tiyani Mabunda, Lars Weldvyk, Lebohang Maboe and Sibusiso Vilakazi.
The above group has been replaced by Bidvest Wits goalkeeper Ricardo Goss, Erick Mathoho, Thapelo Morena, Lebohang Phiri, Kermit Erasmus, Bradley Grobler, Mosa Lebusa, Thato Mokeke, Mothobi Mvala and Aubrey Modiba.

Bafana will travel to Ghana to tackle the Black Stars on Thursday night 14 November - and then welcome Sunday to the Orlando Stadium on Sunday 17 November.
