Redbull Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch believes his side can still qualify for the knock out stages of the UEFA Champions League despite only having four points after four games.
Marsch believes a lot can still happen in the remaining two matches that can send his team to the round of 16. Salzburg currently sits third in Group E with four points, five adrift of leaders Liverpool.
"We wanted to win here of course, but at the end of the match, neither team was in a position to seize a victory. We are still in the running for the knockout stages. A lot can still happen," he said.
Salzburg was held to a one-all draw by Napoli away at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples on Tuesday to further complicate their quest to progress to the next round.
Norwegian teenage Sensation Erling Haaland put Salzburg in the lead from the penalty spot after eleven minutes following a foul on Hee-Chan Hwang. Hirving Lorenzo leveled matters two minutes to half time with a beautiful strike from outside the box to make sure both teams walked away with just a point.
Salzburg will travel to Belgium to face Genk on matchday five before hosting Liverpool on matchday six.
