Gor Mahia keeper included in Tanzania squad for Libya, Equatorial Guinea tests

Gor Mahia goalkeeper David Mapigano has been included in the Tanzania squad that is set to take on Equatorial Guinea and Libya in the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers.

Mapigano has emerged as the first choice keeper at Gor after joining the team this season from Singida United and will hope to make his debut for Tanzania Friday 15 November when they host Equatorial Guinea in Tanzania before taking Libya four days later.

Mbwana Samatta who has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Newcastle United one of the interested teams leads the 25-man team with U17 striker Kelvin John who bagged the top scorers gong in the just concluded CECAFA U17 Championship also making the cut.
