Zambia U23 defender Prosper Chiluya is expecting an unforgiving battle against Nigeria in today’s AFCON U23 game in Egypt.
The Group B clash will follow after Zambia drew 0-0 with neighbours South Africa - while Nigeria had taken a shock 1-0 loss from Ivory Coast.
The two results have thus left both the young Chipolopolo and Young Super Eagles needing to leave everything on the pitch today.
“We also need to win but football is played on the field it will be a tough match. We just have to take it with a serious attitude and fight until the last whistle,” Chiluya said via Zambian Football.
“Nigeria losing the first game makes it a very tough match tomorrow because they will be hungry enough to come with full force to make sure they win but we are conscious of that,” Chiluya said.
Zambia and Nigeria game is set for an 20:00 start from the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.
