Emery handed timely injury boost ahead of Southampton tie

Arsenal have received a boost ahead of their Premier League match against SOuthampton immediately after the international break, with news that Emile Smith Rowe is back in action.

Rowe fetured for England U20's in their game against Portugal on Thursday afternoon, and was on the scoresheet during the match.

The midfielder has battled recurrent injuries in recent weeks, and despite coach Unai Emery indicating he was ready to play before the Leicester game, he was not in the match-day squad.

The Gunners will welcome the Saints at the Emirates on Saturday 23rd November, hoping to grab a win following recent struggles.

Arsenal havent won a Premier League match since their 1-0 win over Bournemouth in October, and lost their last match 2-0 away to Leicester.

Southamton represents a good chance for the Gunners to bounce back to winning ways, considering they are second from last on the table, but will still offer a stern challenge.

Arsenal are placed sixth on the Premier League standings on 17 points, 17 off league leaders Liverpool who are on 34.

Southampton on the other hand are 19th on eight points.
