Ghanaian striker Joseph Paintsil has admitted his admiration for Genk manager Hannes Wolf after he was awarded the opportunity to play for the senior team again, FootballGhana revealed.
The former manager Felice Mazzu had sidelined Paintsil for most of the first-team matches and he has heaped praises on Wolf for having faith in his abilities.
"Of course I was very surprised to find myself back in the basics. The trainer talked to me beforehand, with all the players by the way," the 21-year-old said.
"He gives the whole team new adrenaline and pushes everyone forward.
"He told me to keep pushing even if I made mistakes and that gave me confidence."
