The South African Football Association (SAFA) have at long last handed Molefi Ntseki a working contract.
Ntseki was appointed head coach to replace Stuart Baxter back in August 2019, and has since won one and lost a single AFCON 2021 qualifier.
The coach’s agent Thato Matuka confirmed Ntseki has put pen to paper. Matuka revealed that the deal was done with SAFA acting CEO Gay Mokoena on Tuesday.
“We are fine. Both parties are happy‚” Matuka told TimesLIVE yesterday.
“We actually sealed it yesterday [Tuesday]. We had pretty much agreed on a deal on Thursday‚ but there was just one outstanding matter that both parties had to go back and investigate‚ and consult and come back on. That has been resolved.”
Bafana’s next AFCON qualifiers will be home & away meetings with Sao Tome & Principe in August and September 2020.
