Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on Thursday named a 23-man squad that will take part in the FIFA Club Wolrd Cup in Qatar later this month.
Jurgen Klopp's men will play two matches scheduled for Wednesday, December 18 and Saturday, December 21, adding to their already busy schedule in the Premier League.
The Reds have a few injury worries, with Joel Matip and Fabinho among the senior members of the squad who will not be part of the team to the Middle East.
In their place, Klopp has named four youngsters in the squad and is expected to give them some game time as he rests his top players for the busy schedule.
1. Harvey Elliott
The summer signing from Fulham has not featured much for the Reds, with his only full appearance being in the cup competition.
Elliot, a promising winger, has represented England at youth international level, and at 16, he can only get better.
The trip will most likely offer him more exposure and a different platform to learn from.
2. Rhian Brewster
The striker is said to be interesting a host of clubs in Europe and the Premier League, but it's understood that he can only be allowed to go out on loan if he is guaranteed first-team action.
The 19-year-old is highly regarded at the club and might get a chance to shine at the tournament.
3. Curtis Jones
The versatile and talented midfield player has grown through the club's ranks and is considered as one of the club's brightest young midfielders.
He has an eye for a pass and the ability to score goals and impressed Klopp during the pre-season matches when most of his stars were unavailable.
4. Neco Williams
The Wales youngster has been drafted into Klopp's team for the trip to the Middle East, having impressed in the League Cup in the thrilling 5-5 draw against Arsenal.
