Mombasa based side Bandari FC recorded their first win in over two months following a 3-1 win over Wazito FC at the Mbaraki Stadium.
The Dockers have had a poor campaign so far, failing to collect maximum points since their 1-0 win away to Sony Sugar in September.
Shaban Kenga gave the hosts the lead on the 27th minute before a David Owino goal doubled their lead on the half-hour mark.
With a minute to go to the break, the visitors halved the deficit, Siraj Mohamed sticking the ball into his own net to offer Wazito some reprieve going into the break.
Bandari once again put in a team performance in the second half but had to wait until the 80th minute to get a third.
Kenga got a chance inside the box and beautifully chipped over the keeper for the hosts' third and his second of the day, which gave them some security going into the last minutes of the match.
They were not done though as they grabbed a fourth with five minutes to go, this time Benjamin Mosha turning provider for Yema Mwana to tap in from close range for a 4-1 lead.
The win saw Bandari move to 12th on the log on 12 points from a total of 11 matches with three wins, three draws, and five losses.
Kariobangi Sharks vs Tusker
Elsewhere, Tusker moved back to second on the log after a comfortable 3-1 win over Kariobangi Sharks at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani.
The Brewers had to come from a goal down to pick the three points, having fallen behind through Kevin Machika's strike.
A second-half brace from Luke Namand and George Ogutu were enough to seal a comeback win, which takes Tuksker to second on the log on 24 points, one behind league leaders Gor Mahia, who have two matches at hand.
